Expand School Choice!

If you are wealthy, or live in certain zip codes - you already have school choice. But for many Vermonters whose children could significantly benefit from attending a different school have remained locked out of the process by unequal regulations or tuition payments outside of their family budget.

Different students thrive in different environments. And different schools have different strengths - and weaknesses. Our education process needs to give parents and their students the right to choose which educational setting is the best fit for their child.

Vermont was a pioneer in providing school choice to certain tuition towns back in 1869. But we are losing grounds to other more innovative states. We should be able to provide that choice to all students in EVERY town in Vermont.
